Wow...what a season we have had this year! There's almost as much drama in F1 as there is at S2KCA Anyway...What a turn of events at the Chinese Grand Prix last weekend. I love when it rains at races. It totally throws in the "unexpected twist" factor and makes it interesting vs. the 2 red cars and the 2 silver cars in the top 4. Who would have thought after leading for most of the race that Hamilton would retire by screwing up going into the pits for a tire change after driving masterfully up to that point. How interesting is it that Alonzo, even though I think he is a pompous primadonna cry-baby, could possibly win the title next week in Brazil, and then thumb his nose at McLaren and go back to Renault. And of course, I wouldn't mind in seeing Kimi (AKA - Goldmember) win the championship for Ferrari. I do think that the best thing for F1 is for Hamilton to win the championship as a rookie. Hasn't been done in a long time and he has clearly out driven Alonso the whole year. The kid shows tremendous talent and can definitely be the driver that could equal or better Michael Schumacher's records.

I want to root for Alonso, but he's such a whiney puss I can't. I want to root for Hamilton but I'm not sure how impressed to be with his rookie season considering he's driving a McLerarri. Sucks that this season's been so tainted (especially on the heels of the USGP fiascos in recent years,) but I guess cheating is just the way of the sporting world nowadays.

Alonso has the biggest ego. He makes me want to throw up. He looks like the F1 guy that went to Nascar in Talladega Nights. "Yes, Ricky boobi"... Had it not been for Schumacher's engine blowing up in the last race, Alonso would have been a big choke last year.

Here's another good one: Jen thinks Kimi talks like Goldmember from Austin Powers, so that's her nickname for him.

True! LOL BTW, did anyone else think that Barrichello was a dead ringer for Fraiser Crane?

Hey what time is the race on tomorrow? I'd like to re-order Speed channel and record it for Andie since she'll be at work. It isn't every day that the last race of the season will determine which of 3 excellent drivers will go home with all the marbles.
Speaking of marbles, the top 3 better stay on line!!

Speaking of Rubens, I found this clip of his 1994 crash at Imola. I honestly don't know how he survived it lokking at how his head and neck were snapped. http://youtube.com/watch?v=la0vQlYOKbs

Holy shit!! I've never seen that before. His head looked like a ping-pong ball in a washing machine! He's pretty lucky the car caught enough air to clear the lower fence, otherwise the wreck could have been far worse.

The race is on at 8:30 Sunday morning. I can't wait! If you were Massa, would you try to take out both McLarens in the first turn to give Kimi the win and the championship??
