How do I get out of LA?

For professional racing, I have only been to the drags.

I am wanting to go again, and take Viv this time.  Would probably only do a Friday qualifying.  You get to see more passes that way, cheaper, and less of a crowd.

If you have never been, it is worth going to once.  Anyone else interested?

Jen wants to go to the drag races too.  I've heard it's actually pretty awesome even though the race lasts from 4 to 8 seconds.  Geez...that's like re-living an 18 year old male's sex life... Cheesy

The noise and smells are unique.  Standing at the finish line when they go past at 325 mph is something else.

Take some good ear protection.  I would think the smell is somewhat like the being in the pits at a Champ Car race....lots of methanol.
