Wow...what an incredible game last night.  I was listening to it on the radio while working at a client last night.  When I heard Dallas recovered the onside kick, I ran out to the bar to watch the end of the game.  Last night, Dallas showed they are one of, if not THE top team in the NFC.

Now, I just wish those cheating New England Patriots would start losing.

My family are all die-hard Cowboy fans.  I will not watch them play until I know the outcome of the game.  It takes some of the fun out of it, but all I had to watch last night was the last couple of minutes.  I don't know the odds of recovering an onside kick, but it has to be way less than the 50/50 on the 2 pt conversions.  All I can say is I can't believe that they won.

Hard to land on TO's side, but I gotta say that the ref nearly screwed Dallas out of the win by swallowing the flag when TO got mugged in the end zone on the 2-pt attempt.  I thought for sure that they were going to call interference.  The DB faceguarded and hit TO well before the ball arrived.  Terrible call.

The other thing that almost ruined it was the damn time out called right before dude kicked the (first) winning FG.  That ass Shannarat screwed my Raiders out of a win that way a few weeks ago and now that chickenshit move is the new big thing.  They really need to find a way to disallow that crap because it puts a major damper on what should be electric last-minute finishes.

How are going to disallow a timeout?  I agree though.  It shouldn't be at the last millisecond before the snap.

Yeah I dunno, Vin.  That's a tough one because there are ligitimate reasons to call a last second time out such as when the QB realizes he's out of time on the play clock or when the defense realizes they've got the wrong package to deal with the audible that the QB just called.

Maybe they can make it illegal to for the defense to call a timeout inside of 2 seconds before the end of either the game or play clock if and only if the offense is in it's field goal alignment.
