Well, I had to miss the Palomar drive last month because of my inner CV swap project....which turned out great. My girlfriend is itching for a group drive with the S2K crowd. I took her out to Palomar for a "test drive" after the CV job, and we hit up Wynola on the way into Julian. I'd love to show her Idyllwild with you guys. I keep forgetting to check this site (newbie) but will put the 26th in my calendar. Where and what time to meet?  ? -Hockey |

We're going to do Idylwild this time. Last time we did it, I met John in the shopping center off the Cal Oaks exit of the 15 which is just north of the 15/215 split. We drove to Idylwild, then decided to go to Palm Springs and take the 74 back over the mountains. If you really want one helluva drive, we can grab the 79 and cut over to do Mesa Grande and Palomar in reverse on the way back. That would be some serious miles, more than a full tank for me. Probably meet somewhere between 7 & 8 AM. We'll decide on a time when it gets closer.
