I'm planning on removing the stock "sport tuned" muffler (whatever Honda means by that) and replacing both with the Apexi N1 universal muffler below. Is this any good and easy to install on a 2008 S2000? Mine is a CR though, but it should be the same as a standard S2000.

Also how do you install this universal muffler? I can't see underneath my car very well so I don't know if the stock muffler is welded or bolted onto the piping. I still have to buy jack stands and a good jack.

Thanks!

Well if it is just the muffler "can" itself then you'll need to have a shop cut the existing ones off and weld these on.

However if it is a cat-back system, then it is a complete system from the catalytic converter back to the exhaust tip.  These can be done DIY with limited tools/knowledge.
