You and Vivian are welcome to stay at our pad that weekend if you are coming up. Just let us know! Unless you got in, I think Vinny's the only one of the clan who'll actually be on track that weekend, but we can go make fun of him if nothing else. The Napa winery tour we all do will be worth the trip. Come on up buddy!

I am thinking about it, but it would just be me. Vivian is studying for the CPA exam.

Jen and I are leaving Friday morning. We'll do our wine tasting Saturday, drive Infineon on Sunday, leave Monday morning.

I don't think I can take off Friday. What time would I need to be at Perry's on Saturday for the wine drive?

I was hoping to be done the wine drive by 3 or 4, get some dinner and have a relaxing night since I have to be up early for the track the next day.

What I am trying to get a feel for is what time I would need to be there to go on the drive. From there I can work backwards to find out when I need to leave, get up, ... Then I can make a decision on about what to do.

Perry is probably the best one to ask because I don't know what roads and the distances we will be driving yet.

Working backwards from Vinny's target to be back at my pad by 4pm... I figure we can hang at each of 4 wineries for a half hour, figure 15 minutes between wineries, take an hour for an early lunch (say at 11am,) and still have time to do about 90 minutes worth of hard driving. It takes an hour and 15 minutes one way from my pad to the wine country. So that's 2+1+1+1.5+2.5= 8 hours
Can you get to my pad by 8am? If not, what time can you get there?

That would put me leaving about 2 in the morning.
I will check with the powers that be and see if I can caravan up with Vinny.
