But I can't seem to stop watching it. It would be like not looking at a train wreck. Afro

I much prefer College ball. Any team, any time, no favorites, none at all, not even the UW Badgers who in another life (galaxy?) a long, long time ago gave me a football scholarship.(I'm not sure but I think the ball was made of stone back then.)

(Why do they call it a scholarship when they just want you to administer or take a beating?? Is kicking ass scholarly?)

Hell, in college the ball can be fumbled 3-4 times in the same play. How's that for exciting. And not nealy as many big egos either.

Of course I take out my aggressions, and I have a lot of them, on hocky

I'm exactly the opposite.  I hate college sports.  While I do understand, it is truly the love for the game and not tainted by money, the NCAA has their own BS as well.  A simple playoff system instead of the crap they do would provide for a much better (and clearer) champion.  And yes, the egos and attitudes with the pros are a con to the sports, but they are the true elite and exceptional athletes.

College football will never approach the NFL IMO until they have a legit 8-team playoff.  This BCS system is nonsense.  Look at this year... does anyone outside the Big 12 or Big 10 really think any of the current top 8 teams would beat LSU, USC, or Oregon at full strength?  I just don't see it.  The SEC and Pac 10 are far and away the top conferences, and because of this silly system none of their teams will be in the Championship game because the teams just keep beating up on each other.  Now that SC is healthy I think they're the top team.

The NFL rules, followed closely by college hoops.

I admit that I watch football, but I won't watch teams that I care about until I know the final score.  Saves me some trouble.

Tivo FTW!

Much to Perry's heartbreak, I'm not a big on Pro football anymore.  I lot my interest way back when the Raiders left for LA.  I think Baseball rules.  However, running a close second it College Hoops.

GO STANFORD!!!

If the Raiders or Saints are on, I'll look, but I won't be rivited to the screen.  And I won't yell at the TV like I may when I'm watching or listening to an A's or Stanford game.
